Why a live album?
A good question. Give it a try to answer:
- Because studio albums always have an unsympathetic touch of perfectionism.
- Because a live album is exactly what the name indicates: a live album, the recording of a moment that will never ever happen again, that is unique and despite its possible imperfection, still perfect.
- Because a live album is able to capture the moment. Music can change, small details are added or disappear, tempo is modified or even the character of a song can change. A live album represents the musical status of the day. Without tricks, kind of, "au naturel".
- And also simply because a live album is exactly what we wanted to do.
