Lieble

The third album "Lieble" represents the beginning of a new era for the musicians of the hostuonarmusigbigbandclub. Up until now, we identified with the music of our ancestors and families (even our band name derives from the Austrian farmer's music and the Austrian traditional folk music), whereas our new album only contains own compositions. Nevertheless, our new songs deal - partly musically, partly extra-musically- with events in the past, as is mostly the case. Hardly surprising... Nobody can deny that romancing over the past is one of the holstuonarbigbandclub's major characteristics. Not by chance are we confronting traditional Austrian folk music waltz, experimental plays with Austrian folk music, jazz elements or Balkan sounds and Dixies with Philipp Lingg's new rock 'n' roll-oriented songs.
